天河锁钥——西宁

   青海省省会西宁是一座有着两千多年历史的高原古城，曾是“丝绸之路”南路和“唐蕃古道”的必经之地，西宁所处的青海省东北部河湟区，是日月山以东同仁县以北的黄河、湟水流域，黄河的主要支流——湟水自西向东贯穿西宁市区，孕育了灿烂的河湟文化。赞普林卡藏文化展览馆、东关清真大寺、塔尔寺是西宁人文景观的杰出代表，日月山和青海湖又组成了西宁美丽的自然景观。作为青藏高原通向中原的门户，西宁自古就是一颗璀璨的高原明珠。
　　Xining is located on the northeastern edge of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the upper reaches of Huangshui River. The activities of human beings in this region can be traced to around 2000 years ago. Huangshui River flows through the entire city from west to east and cultivate the resplendent local culture. As well as being the important hinge between the central plains and the western part of China in ancient time, Xining, an obvious pearl on the Plateau, was the most common passing channel of the famous Silk Road. Until now, it is still the only road by which to enter the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
