世界文化遗产——龙门石窟
龙门石窟，位于河南洛阳城南。与大同“云冈石窟”，敦煌“莫高窟”并称为中国古代佛教石窟艺术的三大宝库。2000年被联合国教科文组织批准列入世界文化遗产名录。
龙门石窟集中了从北魏到唐，前后开凿时间长达400余年的10万余尊佛像，至今保存有佛龛2345个，佛塔60余座，牌偈题记2840块，历史悠久的龙门石窟，是中外游人所向往的旅游观光胜地。
Situated to the south of Luoyang of Henan province, Longmen Grottoes were reputed as three treasure houses in the art of ancient Buddhist grottoes with Yungang Grottes and Mogao Grottoes being the other two. In 2000, it was listed by UNESCO to the cultural legacies of the world.The grottoes have collected more than 100,000 statues of Buddha carved out from Northern Wei Dynasty to Tang Dynasty, a period of more than 400 years, as well as 2345 shrines, more than 60 pagodas, and 2840 tablets preserved. It boasts its long history and is a scenic resort looked forward by tourists from home and abroad.
