千年古城——平遥

   平遥地处山西省晋中地区腹部，太原盆地南端，总面积1253平方公里，距太原90公里。平遥历史悠久、文物众多、交通便利、商贸发达，是我国现存较好的四座古城中最完整的一座。平遥历史悠久，文化灿烂，城内有多处著名景点，包括城内的古城墙，“日昇昌”票号，古民居博物馆，“协同庆”票号，明清街，古县衙、以及城外有“古代彩塑博物馆”之称的双林寺等，是晋商文化的发源地
