杭州西湖

  西湖是杭州自然景观的集中体现。西湖是一首诗，一幅天然图画，一个美丽动人的故事，阳春三月，莺飞草长，苏白两堤，桃柳夹岸。湖面是水波潋滟，游船点点，远处是山色空蒙，青黛含翠。自宋以来，人们就把西湖最著名的景点合称为“西湖十景”（苏堤春晓、曲苑风荷、平湖秋月、断桥残雪、柳浪闻莺、花港观鱼、雷峰夕照、双峰插云、南屏晚钟、三潭印月），十景各具魅力，展现了西湖胜景的精华所在，让中外游客津津乐道。

The Scenic Resort of the West Lake consists of Gushan or Solitary Island, .Su & Bai Causeways, three small man-made islands, "Xiao Ying Zhou", "Hu Xing Ting", "Ruan Gong Dun", etc. Thus, the basic layout is "one hill, two causeways, three islands, and five lakes"
