   澳门北邻珠海，西与珠海市的湾仔和横琴对望，东与香港相距60公里，中间以珠江口相隔。作为中国的一个特别行政区。1999年12月20日澳门回归中国之后，经济迅速增长，是“一国两制”的成功典范。同时经过四百多年欧洲文明的洗礼，东西文化的融和共存使澳门成为一个风貌独特的城市，留下了大量历史文化遗迹。“澳门历史城区”是一片以澳门旧城区为核心的历史街区，其间以相邻的广场和街道，串连起20多处历史建筑。它们是四百多年来中西文化交流互补、多元共存的结晶。
      Macau is next to Zhu Sea to the north, facing Wanzai and Hengqin of Zhuhai to the west, 60 km away from Hong Kong to the east. Macau is a special administrative region of China. After back to China on December 20, 1999, economy of it develops quickly, which becomes successful model of the “one country, two systems” policy. During more than 400 years, fusion of eastern and western culture has made Macau a specific city, which has left many historical relics. “Historic Center of Macau” is a history block taking old Macau district as center. The district includes more than 20 historical architecture relics. It is the product of communication of Chinese culture and western culture.
