德国——法兰克福

   法兰克福是德国黑森州最大城市，也是德国最大的航空站和铁路枢纽。同时也是德国重要工商业、金融中心和欧洲文化名城。城市位于莱茵河中部的支流美因河的下游。十四至十八世纪为德意志皇帝选举及加冕处，这里也是德国著名诗人歌德的诞生地。第二次世界大战时法兰克福曾遭到严重破坏，战后重建为一座现代化风格的大都市，被誉为“莱茵河畔的曼哈顿”
        Situated on the Main River, Frankfurt is the business and financial center of Germany and the largest city in the German state of Hesse. Frankfurt is a major transportation hub for Germany and Europe. For over five hundred years, Frankfurt was the site of the election and coronation of German kings and emperors. It is the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang Goethe. Commonly known as the city of the banks in Germany, the city was heavily damaged in World War II, but it was rebuilt into an International city after 1945.
