澳大利亚——堪培拉

  澳大利亚首都堪培拉是现代化城市规划的结晶，这座澳大利亚最大的内陆城市，坐落在一片开阔的谷地上，掩映在一片绿色之中，因其优美的环境，旖旎的风光，而被誉为“大洋洲的花园城市”。 和许多城市不同，这是一座在建造之初就以新市镇的方式规划兴建的城市。城市设计十分新颖，环形及放射状道路将行政、商业、住宅区有机地分开。莫朗格洛河横贯市区，街道纵横交错，美观舒畅。雄伟庄严的国会大厦在波平如镜的格里芬人工湖上映出倒影，使人留下难忘的印象，真切地传达着这座城市的勃勃生机。
  The capital city, Canberra, is a crystallization of planned modern urban city. As Australia’s largest inland city and the eighth largest Australian city overall, Canberra is located at the spacious valleys. Canberra enjoys a beautiful and mild day all year around and also is reputed as the Garden City in the Oceania due to its elegant and scenic environment. The Molonglo River, a tributary of the Murrumbidgee River, flows through Canberra. But the administrative regions, business & residential areas were separated via the circular & radial road due to the novel city planning.  Different to many other cities, it is unusual among Australian cities, being an entirely purpose-built, planned city.
